The efficacy and safety of available pharmacological treatments to effectively manage ADHD in children and adolescents, as shown by recent clinical trial data, will also be discussed. Health care provider/patient communication techniques and strategies to increase provider/patient dialogue in the routine care of patients with ADHD will be presented. Scott H. Kollins, PhD is a professor at Duke University Medical Center in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. He is also a professor and Vice-Chair for Research Strategy and Development. Dr. Kollins is also the director of the ADHD program at Duke University Medical Center. Coach Candace is very excited to have him come and speak!
